Rose petal rosary made by the Carmelite nuns of Burgos (Spain). It comes in a round plastic box with the image of the Virgin of Fatima on the cover, patron saint of Portugal. Fatima is one of the most important sanctuaries dedicated to the Virgin Mary in the world.

The Virgin appeared to three shepherd children on 13th May 1917 and then she was seen in five more occasions, always on the 13th day of each month. The Basilica dedicated to the Virgin Mary was built between 1928 and 1953. The largest peregrinations take place on 12th and 13th May and on 12th and 13th October. There are two main pilgrim routes in Portugal: from Oporto (180 km) and from Lisbon (120 km).
