Cologne Water Álvarez Gómez is a very typical Spanish fragance that was first produced in Madrid in 1912 in the backroom of a drugstore owned by three countryside cousins from León. A member of their backroom "tertulia" (friends that get together for a good talk) brought in a Central European formula for an unisex Cologne Water made with flowers and aromatic herbs. The scent was a big success!
