Silver Medal of San Antonio de Padua. The Portuguese born saint is usually depicted carrying the infant Jesus in his arms. Saint Antonio of Padova is the Saint patron of the poor , of the fishermen, of Lisbon and of Padova. When we lose something, we pray to him and offer money in case we find the lost item.

Saint Antonio was born in Lisbon c. 1195 under the name of Fernando Martins de Bulhoes. At 26 he enrolled the franciscans , after being an Agustinian friar during several years. He was very eloquent in his preaching and became very popular. His feast day is the 13th of June, the day he passed away in Padova, where he was greatly loved.
