Small cast iron figure of the popular portuguese rooster of Barcelos (Galo de Barcelos) one of the emblems of Portugal. It is believed to bring luck. The legend says that a cooked rooster came to life to prove the innocence of a Gallician man who was about to be unjustly hung to death.
